A strange fog dome covered the island. I really hope Arden didn’t get caught in that. I’m sure he’s fine. Everyone in town is nervous. I don’t understand the need to remain in a place like this. I suppose I will never really understand Tepest. One day I will be strong enough to help them all. I know it.
Arden isn’t back. He’s probably on the island. The only way to know is if we go there. The waters are so dangerous. I am going to need my higher magic if we can even consider going there. Fortunately the witch doesn’t seem to kill her victims outright and she can’t really do anything irreparable in such a short period. If try to go there now we are likely to die and that helps no one.
They want to go now. Now I know we’re in a game. No one is this irrational in reality. “Lily” got us a boat. I’m leaving my armor here. At least when we inevitably end up in the water I will have a chance of living.
This has got to be one of the least wise things anyone has ever done in the history of the core. I don’t think they understand what’s best for them. There is no way I could have gotten a boat on my own to save them later so my path is set before me once more. I guess I’ll follow the game’s beaten path on this one. I feel like this should have happened sooner though. Perhaps breaking the time constraints could also be helpful. I need to remember to mark this place assuming we get there. The mists are so foreboding. “Lily” seems to think they will compel us to the island. That’s where we are going so I guess that doesn’t really matter. At least I can shield the two weaker minds and my own before we get there.
Well, that didn’t work. It pierced my magic and my will. Just have to get to the island as quickly as possible. Arathmis jumped out onto the water. That was silly of him. We’re going to hit those rocks ahead. This situation doesn’t surprise me in the least.
I’m glad I left my armor at the inn. I would probably drown in this choppy water. Krajka and I made it out. “Lily” keeps falling underneath. It will only go bad if I try to get her out. Perhaps I can distract the witch by getting to the castle.
She didn’t come out and Arden is here. He seems alright. He barricaded himself inside. I knew it would have been fine if we came in the morning. Everyone is here. Did they really leave the boat capsized in the water? Fortunately we can drag it back with Ant Haul. We have no hope of dealing with this today. I will be at full strength in the morning.
We’ll make it through this. We still shouldn’t be in this predicament though.
